We heard the latest GEC2 project was turning heads in San Francisco. Literally!
Our team received requests to work exclusively on a new STS crane project at the Oakland International Container Terminal. The three new cranes recently passed through San Francisco Bay, ranking among the largest in the U.S. and the tallest in Oakland. The STS cranes will have a lift height of 174 Ft and an outreach of 225 Ft.
“Taller cranes are needed for efficiently handling cargo that arrives on ultra-large container ships. This new infrastructure is a commitment to the port that we will continue our maritime business at Oakland well into the future.”
