Hensel Phelps Brings in GEC2 for Terminal 2&3 LADWP Power Redundancy Upgrade

With the guidance of Ralph Alamillo and Adan Bermudez at Hensel Phelps, GEC2 is setting 3 new "New York style apartment home" sized underground manholes that tie into 2 existing duct banks, installing over forty-two thousand linear feet (equivalent to 8 miles) of underground conduit. This project aids in completing the DWP redundancy loops around Terminal 2 & 3, tying them into TBIT.

Phase 1 of this project was completed during around the clock shifts, crossing active taxiways along with active gates, making it quite an accomplishment for the Hensel Phelps, Griffith, and GEC2 team!
